He was raised as a devout Catholic and he attended the Fairfield College Preparatory School after which he went to Vassar College. Leaving college early to pursue his career, he kept ties with the school by acting as an instructor/counselor for a children’s theater group. Some of the notable films under his name are Jeepers Creepers, Dodgeball : A True Underdog Story, Crossroads, Alvin and the Chipmunks (voice of the main character), Galaxy Quest and Dreamland. Associated with the Get a Mac Campaign of Apple which he says is as much as he knows about computers for he admits as being quite unwieldy with them even with his portrayal of geeks and seemingly genius characters.
